Very nice beach. After spending a June Friday in Manhattan on business, I was pleasantly surprised when my husband decided to drive down from Boston after work so we could have a nude beach weekend at Gunnison Beach. It took about an hour and a half to drive to a hotel near Sandy Hook, New jersey sandy hook nude beach. There are life guards and police patrols, as well as the services we listed earlier. It is a beautiful beach that on a clear day gives you a clear view of the manhattan skyline.

The beach itself is very wide, so the walk from the parking lot to the beach itself is quite a trek. It takes most people min to get from the car to the beach. Especially when you are carrying or lugging all your beach gear. I was there yesterday and it was beautiful being among a community of nude beach lovers. So relaxing, friendly and fun. I look forward to going many more times this summer. The water was cold but refreshing and seeing the NYC skyline in the distance is awesome.

Swimming in the water and relaxing in the sun without the restriction of damp wet trunks is amazing. I hope this beach stays clothing optional for years to come.
